ARE GLO-TREA PRODUCTS 100% NATURAL?

The ingredients in our products are all naturally-occurring and derived from premium, traceable sources. This also means that the list of ingredients used in our products are easily read and identified in the natural world. Our products include powerful plant extracts, refining clays, butters, and botanical and essential oils. Our goal is to clear your skin, not clog it!
DOES THIS MEAN THAT ALL PRODUCTS ARE ORGANIC?

Organic is a term used in relation to food, to identify food that is free of chemical fertilisers, genetic-modification and additives such as preservatives and colourings. Increasingly, the term “organic” is being applied to skincare, though the definition for “organic” skincare is vague. We guarantee however, is that our plant-based products all do not contain mineral oil, parabens, fillers, artificial colourants and fragrances.
DO YOU TEST ON ANIMALS?

No way ho-zay! Our products are 100% cruelty free- We would NEVER test our products on animals. However, we do test our products on willing friends and family members :)
HOW DO GLO-TREA PRODUCTS STAY FRESH?

The ingredients we use in our products have antibacterial and antioxidant properties, acting as natural preservatives. Vitamin E, a component found in various ingredients, naturally extends the shelf life.
HOW DO I KNOW IM NOT ALLERGIC?

Our products are plant and nature-derived, and are created to be as gentle on and nourishing to the skin, as possible. Allergic reactions are rare. It is however possible to be allergic to almost anything, including naturally-occurring substances and matter. If you suspect sensitivity to an ingredient, please conduct a patch test first, on a small area of your skin.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I USE MY FACE MASK?

No two skin types are the same. Therefore, results will vary. For the best results, we recommend masking every 2-4 days, depending on your skin type.
I JUST RECEIVED MY FACE MASK HOW DO I USE IT?

You should have recieved a info booklet which will help keep you right :) To activate your mask, you will need a spoonful of powder and a few drops of liquid.* Apply to face and allow 10-15 minutes for mask to dry, then rinse with warm water.

The great thing about our products is that they are 100% natural and organic, free of preservatives, parabens and nasty chemicals. So yes, we are safe to use. However any changes to your skincare routine should be mentioned to your midwife or consultant.
WHAT ELSE CAN I USE OTHER THAN WATER TO ACTIVATE MY FACE MASK?

Our masks can be mixed with yogurt, honey, rosewater, tea, Diluted apple cider vinegar, etc. To all of you with sensitive skin, please start off with water!
WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE?

Since there are no harmful chemicals or preservatives in our products, shelf life ranges anywhere from 9 to 12 months. Products should be stored at room temperature and away from direct sunlight.
